The Victorian government have announced plans to invest in six new Changing Place facilities in popular locations across Victoria and one mobile adult change facility which can be rented out for special events and occasions. Three of the facilities will be located at Rod Laver Arena, the MCG and Melbourne Zoo and the government wants YOU to help decide where the others should be. To have your say on where the other three facilities are located, fill in the poll on this site.

“This is a wonderful day for thousands of people with severe or profound disability in Victoria,” commented Elizabeth McGarry, CEO of the Association for Children with a Disability, the auspicing body for the Changing Places project.

“Changing Places in public spaces will open up a whole new world to people who need a change table and hoist to comfortably use the toilet. It will mean that they are able to work, go to the footy, take in a movie and do many of the things others take for granted,” continued Ms. McGarry.
